  Our silks are dyed with non-toxic, eco friendly dyes and have been safety tested for children. Hand wash and hang dry. Our Playsilks are hand washable with mild shampoo or dish soap. Hang dry and iron on medium to restore their shine.

  Children have always used found items to create toys and props for imaginative play. Around the world they have used their mother’s scarves and pieces of cloth to make toys. Picking up a piece of cloth, a piece of wood, or a common housebound object allows children to use their imagination in a different way than giving them already formed objects. Putting their creative forces to work is important for creative thinking in adulthood.

  A basket of colored playsilks is one of the best additions to a child’s playroom. It is amazing to see what children create with them.

  Some children make costumes like capes, skirts, pants, hats, veils, animal tails and more. The next day the same silks become green grass for their toy animals to live on, blue water to sail the boats, or a rainbow can appear in the sky above them. Many children wrap their dolls in them or tie them on as a sling to carry a favorite animal or doll around in. Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $200 Australia-wide. This offer may not extend to all PO Boxes. In the unlikely event that we are unable to ship to your PO Box, we will contact you immediately with options.

Our standard shipping option takes approximately 3-5 working days for capital cities, and 5-8 working days for other outlying areas.  Standard shipping is a combination of Australia Post and Major Courier Services. In some cases, we may not be able to ship to a PO Box address, in which case we will contact you with viable alternatives.

Express Shipping takes 1 - 4 working days however certain postcode exclusions do apply.  

We happily ship internationally. For large orders, we may require a shipping quote to ensure the most accurate and fair pricing tailored to your specific shipment. In such cases, we will send a separate invoice for shipping after your order is placed.

Returns

We hope you're delighted with your purchase, but in the unlikely event you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help you any way we can.

Returns

You have 30 calendar days to return an item (excluding sale items) from the date you received it.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Your item must be in the original packaging.

Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). 

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Our shipping costs are non­refundable. If you receive a refund, the full shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
